The Grottenbahn cave railway, where the mascot, Sebastian, awaits in his fairytale world and the Dragon Express runs through the shimmering kingdom of the dwarves.

The Cave Railway is the major tourist attraction of Upper Austria´s capital Linz. It was built by Maximilian d’Este in 1906 in one of the seven Medieval hilltop Towers that once were part of a mighty fortification.

Riding on the “dragon express”, a mini-train  in the shape of the mythological beast, the visitor travels through a brightly lit landscape of fairy tale scenes.
A 1:7 scale model of the Linz “Hauptplatz” at the turn of the century is situated in the cellar of the citadel’s tower. In the side passages, there are depictions of episodes from famous fairy tales.
